Dezember war es soweit. Abends holte ich meinen Freund vom Flughafen ab und \u00fcberraschte ihm mit einem selbstgebastelten Lebkuchenherzal-Plakat, welches &#8220;Grias Di Spotzal&#8221; aufgeschrieben hatte. Ich zeigte ihm mein College, Wichita mit Umgebung, besuchten das superinteressante Cosmosphere-Museum in Hutchinson und verbrachten auch ein paar Tage in Kansas City. Anschlie\u00dfend tourten wir noch ein bisschen durch Texas und klapperten St\u00e4dte wie Galveston, Houston, San Antonio, Austin und Dallas ab. In Houston durfte nat\u00fcrlich ein Besuch des Space Centers nicht fehlen, welcher sogar eine Besichtigung des Mission Control Centers beinhaltete. In Dallas besuchten wir den Ort, an dem John F. Kennedy damals ermordet wurde, sowie das Sixth Floor Musuem, welches n\u00e4her von seinem Leben und seinem Tod erz\u00e4hlt. Super Stimmung gab es bei einem Basketballspiel der Dallas &#8220;Mavericks&#8221;, f\u00fcr welches Dirk Nowitzki spielt, gegen die San Antonio &#8220;Spurs&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: wieder Zuhause in Wichita ankamen, fuhren wir sehr bald weiter gemeinsam mit meiner host mom Richtung Louisiana, wo zwei ihrer T\u00f6chter wohnen. Wir besuchten die eine Tochter mit Sohn in Baton Rouge und die Andere mit Familie in New Orleans und feierten Weihnachten mit beiden. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\">Selbstverst\u00e4ndlich blieb auch etwas Zeit f\u00fcr Sightseeing und so besuchten wir unter anderem auch den French Quarter mit seinem F\u00fcr ihn ging es wieder nach Hause nach Deutschland und f\u00fcr mich nach Orlando (FLORIDA!). Ja, nach Florida.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\">In Florida buchten ich und einige andere PPP-Teilnehmer uns eine Villa f\u00fcr ein paar Tage in der N\u00e4he von Orlando. Dort feierten wir auch in das neue Jahr 2015 hinein. Au\u00dferdem unternahmen wir Tagesausfl\u00fcge unter anderem nach Key West (den s\u00fcdlichsten Punkt der USA), Miami und Miami Beach, sowie auch zum Everglades National Park, wo wir Delfine und
