Die Arch wurde 1961-1965 erbaut und erinnert an die Besiedelung des Westens. Der Bogen symbolisiert das Tor\/den Ausgangspunkt der sogenannten &#8220;Lewis-und-Clark-Expedition&#8221; in den Westen. Unterirdisch der Arch befindet sich ein Museum, welches wir nat\u00fcrlich auch besucht haben nachdem es eh kostenlos war. Au\u00dferdem nutzen wir die Tram um bis ganz nach oben der Arch zu kommen und gesamt St. Louis von oben betrachten zu k\u00f6nnen. Wir entschieden uns f\u00fcr ein Restaurant sehr nahe des Baseball Stadions der St. Louis Cardinals, wo wir unsere s\u00fcchtig machenden, delicious Toasted Ravioli schlemmten.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/31ppp.de\/isabell-schmaus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/39\/2014\/11\/2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-273\" src=\"http:\/\/31ppp.de\/isabell-schmaus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/39\/2014\/11\/2-275x300.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"275\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/31ppp.de\/isabell-schmaus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/39\/2014\/11\/2-275x300.jpg 275w, https:\/\/31ppp.de\/isabell-schmaus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/39\/2014\/11\/2-938x1024.jpg 938w, https:\/\/31ppp.de\/isabell-schmaus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/39\/2014\/11\/2-1200x1308.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 275px) 100vw, 275px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Au\u00dferdem besuchten wir noch den St Louis Zoo, den Forest Park und viele andere Orte in St Louis. Es ist vom Programm vorgeschrieben, 40 Stunden ehrenamtliche Arbeit zu leisten. Bestenfalls sollte man diese w\u00e4hrend der Collegephase erreichen, da es nur noch wenig Freizeit geben wird, sobald ich erst mal arbeiten muss ab Januar. Ich leiste meine Stunden im YMCA (eine Art Fitness Studio) in der Kidszone und k\u00fcmmere mich dort um die Babys und kleinen Kindern, w\u00e4hrend die Eltern Sport treiben.
